Lolita's all grown up now and she has revenge on her mind. White paint bleeds from the pockets of her skirt, dripping into a crochet skull, foreshadowing on what is to come. Written in cursive on the back of her skirt is a quote from Vladimir Nabokov's novel, Lolita. It says "and the rest is rust and stardust".
This high waisted one-of a-kind skirt was designed and sewn by artist Skye De La Rosa, and no exact copy will ever be made.
